Whilst this is a stunning example of Chrysocolla, Kathleen always felt there was something a little different about this piece. Due to its weight, she believed another mineral may be present. After some investigation and conversations with the Indian carvers, it was suggested that Hematite may also be within the skull, which would explain its heavier, more grounded feel.
